It seems that the roots of Berzerka can be traced back to Joey James and Caleb Copeland’s former band, Project Echo.

Formed in 2008, Project Echo played a handful of shows around the Acadiana area until its split in July of 2009. Deciding to keep a few songs from Project Echo, Joey and Caleb then went on to recruit Matt Schnell on bass to form a short-lived band by the name of Bruna.

Although this group never played any shows, the groundwork for Berzerka’s songwriting was laid down with Bruna.

Reggie Dupre’ is from Lafayette, Louisiana and has a habit of playing cover songs in public while drinking.

I can tell you from experience that I’ve seen Reggie do better drunk than some of the sober acts.

I trust he knows what he’s doing. So…come out for some good music, a decent laugh, & an even better time.
